For iPhone Duo TestFlight opens October 23

Someone on a night train reads a manga spread on an open iPhone Duo, city lights in the window.

The comic and manga reader for iPhone Duo.

Two pages, one on each half, with nothing lost in the fold. Read the DRM-free comics and manga you own.

Open it, and the outer screen can show the cover of what you're reading. Opt-in, still being tested on Duo hardware.

A spread lies across the hinge the way it lies open in your hands.

Each page gets its own half, the way a printed spread does. Nothing is drawn into the fold. Close the phone and the outer screen shows one page at a time.

An iPhone Duo open flat, a two-page manga spread across its inner screen.

Invented art and generated photographs, made for this page.

Closed, it's one page.

The outer screen reads a page at a time. Unfold the phone and the spread opens where you were.

Open, the cover faces out.

While you read the spread inside, the outer screen can show the cover of the volume. It's opt-in.

Join the waitlist for the invite on launch day and a say in what gets built first.

I'm one developer building the comic reader I want for my own Duo. The answers to the last question decide what gets built first.

Are you getting an iPhone Duo?

One email when TestFlight opens, and a few build notes before then. Never shared.

Questions

Where do comics come from?
Files you add. It doesn't browse or download from websites.
Does it work without a Duo?
Yes, on any iPhone or iPad. The Duo is the phone it's designed around.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Android foldables come next, after the iPhone Duo and iPhone launch.
What happens to my email?
It's used for the TestFlight invite and a few build notes, and nothing else. Reply to any of them to be removed.
